The Argentinian government’s General Port Administration (AGP) has launched a tender to renew and modernise its blockchain-based e-PuertoBUE Electronic Document Exchange platform, currently in use at the Port of Buenos Aires.
This digital platform is used to carry out the electronic logistics transactions of the actors in the jurisdiction of the Port of Buenos Aires, such as the request for stopovers where the lines and maritime agents, the concession terminals, the naval prefecture and the Customs interact.
Resolution 8/2021 published in the Official Gazette specifies that the platform to be developed must be based on secure, standardised and interoperable technological tools, the AGP said.
